Can I claim for my BMD with Medicare?

This is a picture of our original BMD Scanner at Wollongong. It has now been superseded with a "State of the Art" NORLAND EXCELL See Below.

The BMD Scan can designate whether a patient is at Low, Medium or High risk of a fracture. i.e. Does the patient have Osteoporosis?

For Example:

1.Low Risk       3.False Negative due to Crush #: 

A recent improvement to the diagnostic accuracy is the scanning of wrists.
