General Electric Hawkeye 4 SPECT/CT Hybrid camera

Installed in July 2007. This camera represents the "State of the Art" in diagnostic nuclear Imaging. It provides anatomical information as well as the traditional NM functional information, to greatly enhance the diagnostic accuracy and reporting confidence for many scan types.

Phaser 8500 Colour Printer

Laminated colour printouts will be sent to all referrers with the SPECT/CT images. This provides the ideal output. The nuclear medicine data is fused onto the CT scan to provide accurate localisation of the "hot spots" onto the patient's anatomy.

Siemens Signature Model Variable Dual Head E-Cam

In June 2007 Canterbury Bankstown Nuclear Imaging (C/B NI) installed a "State of the Art" Siemens E-Cam Dual Head Digital Gamma Camera and associated enhanced image processing and output capability, using Siemens E-Soft and Syngo programs and an Agfa Drystar 2000.

Agfa Drystar 2000 Imager

Associated with this camera upgrade is the acquisition of an AGFA Drystar 2000 Digital Network Printer. Direct thermal printing of B&W images (to laser-like quality with 300dpi resolution, 256 levels of grey and average optical density of 3).
