Secure Email Scan Report Distribution. Two options are available. We strongly recommend the use of ARGUS Connect Secure Email. We are phasing out the Promedicus.net option. ARGUS CONNECT SECURE EMAILFollow this link for information: ARGUSSecure Electronic Reports
to your Practice
Southern Nuclear Imaging Group is keen to communicate electronically with our referrers and, in particular: 1. To send our reports securely using PKI encryption which can then be easily imported into your computer patient clinical record system and 2. To provide access to
electronic versions of the hard-copy scan printouts/films. As you are aware, after due consideration of the options, we have installed the Argus secure messaging software which is being taken up by health provider organisations across our regions.
The Argus software is free to GP, Specialist and Allied Health practices. There are no per-message charges for documents sent or received via Argus beyond normal email costs. Once installed, you will also be able to use your Argus to exchange patient clinical messages and reports with other Argus users. Promedicus.netCanterbury Bankstown Nuclear Imaging Referrers.Commencing in early 2006 your patient's nuclear medicine reports can be securely emailed to your surgery via Promedicus.net www.promedicus.net If you wish to use this service, please fill in the attached Questionnaire and return it to the Keymaster at Promedicus.net (email address and fax number are on the Questionnaire). Why? If you have digitised your patient's files (i.e. use programs such as Medical Director and any one of hundreds of similar programs) the email reports will go directly into the patient's file ready to be called up when the patient arrives. No more scanning in of paper reports. Also, no more lost reports. A receipt is returned via Promedicus.net to our practice to confirm that the report has arrived successfully. For an overview of how to get started or how to add Canterbury Bankstown Nuclear Imaging to your list of providers emailing reports (or to use Promedicus.net for the first time) please click the "how to get started" link. This MS Word document also contains a survey which is designed to provide us with an idea of what our referrers want. Please take the time to fill it in and return it to us (FAX 02 97906064). It will help us to provide a better service in the future. |
