Southern Nuclear Imaging Group comprises three private, doctor owned, non-corporate Nuclear Medicine practices in the areas stretching from Bankstown in the North to the Illawarra area in the South.

SNIG Practices regularly upgrade equipment and facilities to guarantee “State of the Art” nuclear medicine practise. Company Profile

The Southern Nuclear Imaging Group (SNI) consists of four private Nuclear Medicine practices. The individual practices at Bankstown, Revesby, Wollongong, Nowra, are dedicated to providing the full range of nuclear medicine procedures.

Our physicians are all members of relevant professional associations. Their memberships include the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM), the Australian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists (AANMS) and the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM). The technologist staff are all accredited with the ANZSNM and members of the ANZSNM, ANZSNMT and the Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR). All Technologist staff are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).  SNI have also obtained accreditation (with the ANZSNM) for the training of Nuclear Medicine Technologists at Bankstown, Wollongong and Nowra.

SNIG's physicians have had extensive experience in the field of Nuclear Medicine. 
Dr Norman Lyons (Dec.) founded the first practice in 1987. Drs Phillip Monaghan, A/Prof George Larcos and Dr Michael Magee have also had extensive experience in the public and private sectors. 
Dr Phil Monaghan and his wife Margaret are the Principals of the Southern Nuclear Imaging Group.
